Improvement Works at O'Hanrahan Station
Wexford Borough Council has completed works at O'Hanrahan Railway Station, Redmond Square to make it more accessible. Works include a safer bus stop, ramped crossings and improved disabled access to the station.

Nickey Rackard Commemorative Statue
The sculptor Mark Richards has been commissioned to sculpt the statue of Nickey Rackard. It is anticipated that the statue will be unveiled in Spring 2012.
