Wexford Town - A brief History

Striding into the 21st Century, Wexford town and it's hinterland is now a vibrant economic force, a thriving industrial, commercial and tourist centre.

Situated on National Primary Road Route, N25, and on Euroroutes E01 & E30, Wexford stands directly on the path of business and tourist traffic between Ireland and Europe.  Rosslare Harbour, Ireland's gateway to Europe, is located only 20 kms from the town giving direct access by passenger and ro-ro ferry services to Fishguard and Pembroke in the U.K. and to Le Harve and Cherbourg in France.
